The various research and other projects developed around the theme of Creative Research and Innovation will underpin a programme of post-graduate teaching and executive education.
A number of research institutions provide programmes of study on creative business innovation, and some business schools run courses which creative businesses take advantage of. But, to our knowledge, none provide dedicated programmes of Creative Industries research-led study for creative businesses.
Andrew Chitty and Graham Hitchen both have experience of one of the very few programmes which have been run over recent years – the Centre for Creative Business, which was a collaboration between University of Arts London and London Business School. Drawing on this experience, and working with creative business leaders in London, a new research-led programme is being devised.
Focused around creative industries growth and innovation, this programme would be of particular interest to creative businesses in London, including global businesses head-quartered in the capital. A programme of business and employer engagement will begin in 2023, with a view to a set of modules being trialled in 2024.
